Steak Bites with Garlic Butter & Mustard Dipping Sauce
INGREDIENTS:
Steak Bites Ingredients:
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 1/4 lbs Steak: Rib Eye, Sirloin, Strip Steak or Tenderloin (Cut into 1-inch cubes)
3 tbsp Butter
4 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
Salt and Pepper, To taste
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley, Minced
Mustard Dipping Sauce Ingredients:
½ cup Sour Cream
¼ cup Maille Old Style Mustard
1-2 tsp Hot Sauce
1 Clove of Garlic, Finely grated
Salt and Pepper, To taste
DIRECTIONS:
To prepare the sauce, make sure to combine all the mustard dipping sauce ingredients in a small bowl, adding salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Add olive oil to a large skillet and make sure to heat it over high heat. Once hot, add the steak and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for 3 to 4 minutes while stirring until you get a golden-brown color. Cook in batches if your skillet is not large enough, this way you will not overcrowd the skillet.
Reduce heat to medium-low for a minute, then add the garlic and butter together.
For 1 or 2 minutes continue to cook. Stir and make sure to cover the steak bites in the garlic-butter sauce.
Serve the steak bites alongside with the creamy mustard dipping sauce and for the last step, garnish with parsley.
Enjoy!
