Spaghetti With Shrimp And White Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound spaghetti

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

DIRECTIONS:

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Return the shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.

Serve the spaghetti with shrimp and white sauce hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
