Seared Scallops
Scallops are found in the ocean and are shellfish, closely related to clams and oysters, favored in many restaurants and home-cooked meals. INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. Dried sea scallops
2 Tbsp. Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. Butter
3 tsp. Minced garlic
Chopped parsley for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
Season the scallops with salt and pepper, dry them completely with a paper towel.
Place the scallops and butter into the heated oil and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet, turn the scallops over, and saute for a minute and a half longer.
Serve topped with fresh chopped parsley for garnish.
