Sautéed Zucchini

INGREDIENTS:

2 medium zucchini, sliced into rounds or half moons

2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh herbs (such as parsley, basil, or thyme), for garnish (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

Heat the olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant (if using).

Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Season the zucchini with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook the zucchini for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until tender and lightly browned on the edges.

Remove the skillet from the heat and transfer the sautéed zucchini to a serving dish.

Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired, and serve immediately.
