Polish Kielbasa and Potato Soup

INGREDIENTS:

1 Pack KielbasaSliced
4 cups Green CabbageChopped
1 cup CarrotsSliced
2 lb. Baby Red PotatoesCut into fourths
3 tsp GarlicMinced
1 OnionSliced
8-10 cups Chicken BrothPrepared
Salt and Pepper to Taste

DIRECTIONS:

Place the kielbasa into a large pot over medium-high heat, and sauté until browned. Remove and set aside.
Add the cabbage and onion to the same pot, and sauté for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Stir in the potatoes, carrots, kielbasa, and minced garlic.
Pour in the chicken broth.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Bring the mixture to a boil, and then simmer for 20 minutes until the potatoes have softened.
