INGREDIENTS:

2 racks of baby back ribs (about 3-4 pounds each)

1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce

1/4 cup of brown sugar

2 tablespoons of paprika

2 teaspoons of garlic powder

2 teaspoons of onion powder

2 teaspoons of chili powder

1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Aluminum foil

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C). The low and slow cooking method will ensure tender, flavorful ribs.

Prepare the Ribs:

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. This can be done by sliding a knife under the membrane and lifting it away from the bones.

Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Create the Dry Rub:

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a flavorful dry rub.

Apply the Dry Rub:

Rub the dry rub generously over both sides of the ribs, ensuring an even coating. Place the ribs on a baking sheet.

Wrap in Foil:

Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil. This helps to lock in moisture and flavor during the cooking process.
