Old Fashioned Goulash
This old fashioned goulash recipe is a definite family favorite! It’s hearty, savory, and so filling.

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. Ground beef
1 C. Uncooked elbow macaroni
1 Onion chopped
28 oz. Diced tomatoes undrained
 C. Frozen corn
8 oz. Tomato sauce
4 oz. Can diced green chilis
½ tsp. Cumin
¼ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Black pepper
¼ C. Chopped fresh cilantro

DIRECTIONS:

Boil the macaroni until it is done to your liking, rinse in cold water, and drain.
Add the ground beef and onion to a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove, and cook until the meat is browned and onions have softened. Drain any excess grease.
Reduce the heat to medium and add in the diced tomatoes, frozen corn, tomato sauce, green chilis, salt and pepper, and cumin. Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in the macaroni and cilantro, and stir to combine before serving.
