No Bake Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

3 cups quick-cooking oats

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS:

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa powder. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil. Let it boil for about a minute.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the peanut butter until it’s well combined.

Add in the quick-cooking oats, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until everything is thoroughly incorporated.

Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper or parchment paper. You can make them as big or as small as you like.

Let the cookies cool and harden for about 30 minutes. If you’re in a hurry, you can also pop them in the fridge for quicker cooling.

Once they’ve set, your No Bake Cookies are ready to enjoy!
