Mandarin Orange Chicken Salad

This is such an easy salad to prepare. You just have to combine the ingredients and then let the salad chill for several hours, making it a delicious and refreshing dish to serve in the warmer months.

INGREDIENTS:

½ C. Green onion chopped

4 C. Shredded or cubed chicken

8 oz. Cream cheese softened

1 C. Celery chopped

1 C. Mayonnaise

15 oz. Can of mandarin orange sliced drained well

2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 C. Slivered almonds

1 tsp. Garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

Stir together the chicken, celery, oranges, green onions and almonds in a mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, blend together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, worcestershires sauce, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.
Blend the contents of the two bowls together until well combined.
Chill for 4 hours before serving.
