Italian Crescent Ring

Italian Crescent Ring
This Italian Crescent Ring is the perfect dish for a party. It’s easy to make and can be easily customized to your liking. Simply shape Italian sausage into a ring, top with crescent rolls, and bake.

INGREDIENTS:

8 oz SalamiThinly sliced
¼ tsp Black pepper
2 cans Crescent roll dough 8 oz. each
c Shredded mozzarella cheese
oz Deli hamThinly sliced
½ c Pepperoncini pepper rings
Slices Provolone cheesecut in half
EggLarge
½ c Red peppers Sliced roasted
Italian seasoning

DIRECTIONS:

Heat the oven to 375 degrees, and either grease a large round pizza tray, or layer it in parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent dough, and separate it into triangles.
Place the dough triangles in a circular shape on the round baking sheet, with the wide ends of the dough all overlapping and creating the inner part of the circle, and the pointy ends of the dough facing outward like the shape of a sun.
In a bowl, combine the pepperoncini peppers, red peppers and black pepper. Stir to combine.
Lay the half slices of provolone cheese on the widest part of the dough triangles, near the center of the ring.
On top of the cheese, layer the ham, then the salami, pepper mixture and mozzarella cheese.
Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling, and tuck it closed under the inside of the circle.
Seal the dough by brushing it with the beaten egg.
Sprinkle with additional black pepper and Italian seasoning.
Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
