Honey Garlic Salmon
This deliciously sweet and savory Honey Garlic Salmon recipe is a perfect meal for a special occasion you may have you are short on ideas, the salmon is cooked in a lightly-sweetened and garlicky sauce, and a hint of butter gives it a rich, velvety texture.

INGREDIENTS:

2-3 Salmon fillets skin on
Salt and pepper to taste
Cayenne pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. Honey
1 Tbsp. Water
1 ½ tsp. Apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. Olive oil
3 tsp. Minced garlic
½ Lemon sliced
2 Tbsp. Chopped parsley

DIRECTIONS:

Heat the oven to broil.
In a bowl, combine the honey, water, apple cider vinegar and a pinch of salt.
Heat the olive oil in an oven-proof skillet over medium high heat.
Season the salmon with salt, pepper and cayenne to taste.
Sear the salmon skin down, flip and sear for a few minutes before returning the salmon to skin down.
Add the garlic and lemon slices to the skillet and saute for 30 seconds.
Pour the honey mixture into the skillet until the sauce gets sticky.
Broil the salmon for a few minutes to char the top.
Garnish with parsley before serving.
