Homemade Strawberry Bread
Strawberry bread will look just as delicious as it tastes. This sweet quick bread is relatively easy to make but will taste as if you put in tons of effort. If you’re a fan of strawberries, this will surely become a recipe staple for you. This recipe can be easily stored for later, but it probably won’t last that long.

INGREDIENTS:

For the bread:
¾ C. Granulated sugar
½ C. Oil
½ C. Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 Large egg
2 tsp. Baking powder
2 C. All purpose flour
¼ tsp. Salt
2 C. Diced strawberries
2 Tbsp. All purpose flour
For the glaze:
2 C. Powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter melted
 C. Diced strawberries
½ tsp. Vanilla extract
1-2 Tbsp. Milk

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Add the ½ cup oil, ½ cup milk, ¾ cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 large egg to a mixing bowl, and beat until smooth and creamy.
Place the 2 cups of flour, 2 tsp baking powder and ¼ tsp salt in the mixing bowl with the wet ingredients, and beat until well combined.
In a bowl, toss the 2 cups of diced strawberries in the 2 tbsp flour, and then fold them into the bread batter.
Spread the batter into a well greased loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes until completely cooked through.
Remove the bread from the oven and let cool.
Mix together the ingredients for the glaze and spread over the cooled bread before serving.
