Hamburger Rice Casserole

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
2 cups water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess grease.

Stir in the uncooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.

Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
