Grandma’s Meat and Tater Hotdish
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb Ground Beef
1 Onion, Chopped
1 Bag Frozen Tater Tots
1 Can green beans, Drain and save the liquid for the recipe
1 Can Cream of Onion Soup
¾ cup Sour Cream
8 oz Package Velveeta
Salt and Pepper to Taste
DIRECTIONS:
1.Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
2.In a bowl, whisk together the sour cream, soup, and liquid from the green beans, as well as salt and pepper to taste.
3.Cook the meat and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat until the beef is browned and the onion has softened. Drain any extra fat.
4.Stir the green beans into the meat.
5.Layer the meat in the bottom of a 9×13 dish.
6.Cut the Velveeta into pieces, and place it on the meat.
7.Place a layer of tater tots on top of the mixture.
8.Pour the soup mixture over the ingredients and bake for 1 hour.
