French Toast Breakfast

INGREDIENTS:

French toast:

2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
Pinch of salt
6 slices white bread
½ tbsp oil

To serve:

Streaky bacon
Maple Syrup
Icing Sugar

DIRECTIONS:

In a medium bowl, beat together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Place each slice of bread in egg mixture, ensuring both sides are soaked.
Place soaked bread onto pan, cooking on each side for a few minutes until golden.
Serve immediately topped with bacon, maple syrup, icing sugar or whatever toppings you desire.
