Egg Roll Stir Fry
A recipe that gives you more of your favorite take-out dish without the restriction of a wrapper. Sweet and tangy flavors blend together for the ultimate comfort meal.
INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ lbs. Ground beef
¼ C. Soy sauce
1 C. Chopped onion
1 Bag shredded cabbage coleslaw mix
½ C. Shredded carrots
3 tsp. Minced garlic
2 tsp. Ginger paste
2 Tbsp. Sesame oil
Green onions for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Add one tablespoon of sesame oil to a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove.
Add the ground beef and onion to the skillet and saute until the meat is completely browned and the onion has softened.
When the meat is halfway browned, mix the shredded carrots into the skillet.
Toss the cabbage into the skillet, and cook until it begins to soften.
In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger paste and other tablespoon of sesame oil. Mix to combine.
Pour the sauce mixture over the ingredients in the skillet, and stir to combine. Continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes before serving topped with freshly chopped green onions.
