Easy Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls
INGREDIENTS:
For the Dough:
2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Filling:
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, softened
For the Icing:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Preparing the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick baking mix, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the milk while stirring continuously to form a soft dough.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it gently for about 5 minutes until smooth.
Step 2: Rolling Out the Dough
Roll the dough into a 10×14-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
Spread the softened butter over the entire surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Step 3: Creating the Cinnamon Sugar Filling
In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.
Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
Step 4: Rolling the Dough
Starting from one of the longer sides, tightly roll the dough into a log shape.
Pinch the seam to seal the roll.
