Crockpot Navy Bean and Ham Soup
There’s nothing like a hot bowl of soup on a cold day, this crockpot navy bean soup recipe is the perfect comfort food for those winter days.

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. Navy beans washed and any bad beans picked out
1 Large smoked ham bone
1 Onion chopped
2 Stalks celery chopped
¾ C. Chopped carrots
2 Tbsp. Minced garlic
½ tsp. Pepper
2 Bay leaves
4-5 C. Water

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all  ingredients in a crockpot.
Set the heat to low and cook for 6-8 hours.
Remove the ham bone and shred the meat.
Add the ham meat back to the Crockpot. Mix and serve.
