INGREDIENTS:

8 oz. Cream cheese

2 Tubes of crescent roll dough

1 lb. Ground breakfast sausage

½ tsp. Garlic powder optional

Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

Heat the oven to 375 degrees, and grease a 9×13 casserole dish.
Saute the sausage in a skillet over medium high heat until completely browned. Drain the excess grease.
Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste, as well as the garlic powder if using.
Mix the cream cheese into the warm meat, and stir until well combined.
Unroll the crescent dough, and place one tube of unrolled dough in the bottom of the casserole dish, pinching the seams closed, and pressing the dough to cover the entire bottom of the dish.
