CREAMY PEA SALAD

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups frozen peas, thawed

8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

DIRECTIONS:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed peas, crumbled bacon, chopped red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese (if using).

In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
