Classic Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes
This Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes takes the classic sloppy joe and adds in the flavors of a classic Philly cheesesteak. Ground beef is combined with sautéed peppers and onions, Worcestershire sauce, and a creamy cheese sauce to create a flavorful and filling sandwich.

INGREDIENTS:

2 Tbsp. Ketchup

6 Hamburger buns

2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 Onion chopped

2 tsp. Olive oil

1 Green bell pepper chopped

2 tsp. Taco seasoning

1 lb. Ground beef

1 tsp. Cornstarch

1 ½ C. Shredded white cheddar cheese

¼ tsp. Salt

½ C. Chicken broth

¼ tsp. Black pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat the oven to broil.
Add the oil to a skillet over medium heat, and cook the onions and peppers until softened.
Stir in the meat, and cook until browned. Drain the excess grease.
In a bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and chicken broth.
Add the worcestershire sauce, ketchup, taco seasoning and salt and pepper to taste to the meat mixture, and stir to combine.
Mix in the cornstarch mixture, and simmer until the mixture thickens.
Spoon the meat mixture into the buns, top with the cheese and broil for 1-2 minutes before serving.
