Cajun Honey Butter Salmon
INGREDIENTS:
4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Lemon wedges, for serving
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet or baking dish.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the Cajun seasoning, honey, melted butter, and olive oil until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet or dish, skin side down. Season each fillet with salt and pepper to taste.
Brush the Cajun honey butter mixture generously over the top of each salmon fillet, ensuring they are evenly coated.
If desired, cover the baking sheet or dish with aluminum foil to prevent the salmon from drying out.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
If desired, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to achieve a golden crust on top.
Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing.
