Broiled Scallops
These Easy Broiled scallops are a quick and easy way to get your seafood fix, and they’re perfect for any occasion. So next time you’re looking for something special to serve up, give this recipe a try!

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 pounds bay scallops
1 tablespoon garlic salt
2 tablespoons buttermelted
2 tablespoons lemon juice

DIRECTIONS:

The first thing to do is turn your oven to the broil setting. Let it preheat for a few minutes prior to cooking the scallops.
Rinse scallops thoroughly.  If they were frozen prior to cooking you must make sure they are completely thawed first. Broiling half-thawed seafood can result in parts not being fully cooked.
Place scallops in a mixing bowl and toss with melted butter, garlic salt, and lemon juice till everything is fully combined.
Place seasoned scallops on a greased baking pan and broil for 6-8 minutes.  Once you notice the top getting a golden brown color, flip them over to sear the other side.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
Serve right away as the scallops tend to lose their heat pretty quickly.
