Bacon Cheese Fries with Ranch Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound frozen fries

6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Ranch Sauce Ingredients

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried dill

1 teaspoon white vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the package of frozen fries.

Spread the frozen fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions until golden and crispy.

While the fries are baking, prepare the ranch sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, chives, garlic, onion powder, dill, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with the cooked bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.

Return the fries to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions, if desired.

Serve the bacon cheese fries hot with a side of ranch sauce for dipping.
