Apple Pie Biscuits
Apple Pie Biscuits. Wait, what? Yep, you read that correctly. These crumbly little biscuits are stuffed with a sweet and delicious apple pie filling. Apple Pie Biscuits are one of the most delicious Fall recipes around! They are perfect for a Thanksgiving brunch or to bring to a potluck!
INGREDIENTS:
1 can of buttermilk biscuits
1 can apple pie filling
½ c butter melted
½ c brown sugar
1 tbs cinnamon
⅛ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Icing:
½ c confection sugar.
1 tbs milk
DIRECTIONS:
Start by lightly greasing the pan or skillet.
Then, in a bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Subsequently, take each biscuit, dip it in butter, and coat it with the sugar mixture.
Finally, arrange the biscuits in the pan.
Chop the apple pie filling into smaller portions, add in some vanilla extract, layer over the biscuits, then dust with the remaining sugar and dot with butter. Place in the oven and bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.
Make icing and drizzle over top.
Serve warm.
