Easy 4 Layer Delight
When you want to surprise your family with a delicious and fun type of dessert, please make this one! This dessert can be made for any type of occasion or just because you want to enjoy a great dessert. The layers are made up of Cool Whip, pudding and cream cheese. A delightful blend of flavors together on top of a homemade crust and sprinkled with pecans.
INGREDIENTS:
Layer 1:
1 C. All-purpose flour
1 C. Finely chopped pecans
¼ C. Granulated sugar
½ C. Butter melted
Layer 2:
8 oz. Cream cheese softened
5 oz. Cool Whip defrosted
1 C. Powdered sugar
Layer 3:
6 oz. Package of instant chocolate pudding mix
3 C. Milk
Layer 4:
7 oz. Cool whip defrosted
Chopped pecans for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ingredients or layer one until completely combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a well greased 9×13 baking dish, and bake for 15 minutes.
Allow the crust mixture to cool.
Mix together the ingredients for layer 2 until smooth and creamy.
Spread the mixture over the cooled crust.
