Easy Shrimp Scampi
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup dry white wine
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
8 ounces linguine, cooked according to package instructions
Lemon wedges, for serving
DIRECTIONS:
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
